| Events2010 Sigma Pi Open  Date: June 12, 2010 We are only three months away from the 11th Annual Chris Hull Memorial Sigma Pi Open! It’s time to dust off the clubs and hit the driving range. You’ll want to have your ‘A-game’ for the tourney on June 12th! Also, hardcopy registration forms will be mailed shortly from the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, the tournament’s benefactor. Look for them in the mail soon. | NewsPresident's 2010 Spring ReportWe have accomplished much since 2006, with just a few key wins summarized here: • Keith Kennedy ’86, alumni and the brotherhood have made improvements too numerous to mention to the house (sprinkler system, safety and code compliance, landscape, basic maintenance, traditional décor, carpets, furniture, electronics, framed historical items and composites, etc.) • We now have almost 80 active brothers and a full chapter house (and we are planning rush and the pledge program to keep it that way). Fall 2009 netted 18 new brothers, the second highest number on campus. Our spring class will add 6 or 7 to that number. • We are winning or placing in everything: academics, Greeks Week and Greek Sing, Homecoming, IMs, THON, etc. Continued... Thon 2010 Raises Record $7,838,054.36 The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon raised a grand total of $7,838,054.36 at this year’s 46 hour event held Friday, February 19th through Sunday, February 21st. Construction Photos
The undergraduates will move back into the house in just a few days, and this summer’s renovations are now complete.
Above are some of the highlights – new stove and tile in the kitchen, new tile and cleaned wood work in the brothers bar, two bathrooms on the lower level for use during parties and events, new bathrooms and shower room on the second floor, restored and renovated card room, and an alumni room.
