| Events2010 Sigma Pi Open  Date: June 12, 2010 I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season and are starting off the New Year with prosperity. Despite the fact that we are all thinking about how to stay warm in this unseasonably cold winter, it’s not too soon to begin planning for the 11th Annual Chris Hull Memorial Sigma Pi Open! As many of you know, the tournament is a philanthropic fundraiser held in memory of Chris Hull, Theta ’89, who passed away in 1999 following a life-long battle with Fanconi Anemia. Over the past ten years, the event has been a tremendous success where undergraduates, alumni, family, and friends have enjoyed an exciting golf tournament while raising money for the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund. Throughout his life, Chris Hull was active with the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund and we are pleased to be able to honor his memory through continued support of this charitable organization. Construction Photos
The undergraduates will move back into the house in just a few days, and this summer’s renovations are now complete.
Above are some of the highlights – new stove and tile in the kitchen, new tile and cleaned wood work in the brothers bar, two bathrooms on the lower level for use during parties and events, new bathrooms and shower room on the second floor, restored and renovated card room, and an alumni room.
