Theta Chapter Recognized
Sigma Pi received recognition at the Greek Column Awards last week as a “2011 Chapter of Excellence” from the staff of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.  This designation is given to only a select few fraternities that meet the high standards of recognition.  Some of the qualifications of this award include attendance at programming events, community service and participation in Greek events and philanthropy.

Additionally, recent graduate Casey Knapp '11 received special recognition for serving as the Executive Director for Greek Sing 2011 and for his involvement in the Greek Community with a "Living the Ritual" Award.  Hopefully the Theta Chapter can build on this honor and use it as a springboard for future success.

Did You Land a Job Thanks to Sigma Pi?
Sigma Pi was filled with many fun memories, and served as the foundation for great friendships that have lasted well beyond graduation. But we know that the Sigma Pi connections have likely led to great job opportunities too. Did you land a job thanks to a career network formed at Sigma Pi? Share your story on the message board.

Also, if you’re looking for a new job or looking to hire, the Sigma Pi brotherhood is a great place to network. You can share your details on the message board, and hopefully find your next career path or great employee.

Theta Chapter Welcomes 15 New Pledges
By Andrew Sarangoulis ‘14, Sage

This semester, Theta Chapter is continuing its long history of striving in all aspects of fraternal life.  After another successful rush, we obtained 15 pledges. Thanks go out to our rush chairs, Matt “Goose” Triveri, Ryan Pretti, and Connor Donley, who motivated every brother to get involved in the process, ensuring that we gave bids to solid candidates that would fit the Sigma Pi mold.

To aid in their efforts, register online today! This allows us to start to get a head count and lets other brothers see who else will be attending.
